Can you Help Save These Pets?

The dog days of summer are approaching and our dogs (and cats) could use your help. Each year, Help Save Pets, the Humane Society of Plainfield, rescues and adopts thousands of homeless cats and dogs. We help the unfortunate strays and abandoned animals find forever homes with loving families. However, we need your help with these two special animals. Will you help them?

Print out the coloring sheet. Color the cat and dog on the coloring sheet. You can use crayons, markers, paints - anything to make your animals great.

These animals also need a home, so use your best drawing skills and give them a really special home.

Finally, cats and dogs need a name, so put on your thinking caps and give the cat and the dog really incredible names.

Be sure your entry includes your name, age, phone number and has Mom or Dad's signature allowing you to enter the contest.

The contest is open to all kids ages 2-11. Entries will be grouped into two age categories - 2 through 6 and 7 through 11. There will be two grand prize winners. Each winner will receive a $50 gift card courtesy of Argonne Credit Union. We will also use the names of your animals to name one of our real life friends.

The contest will run until September 6, 2010.

You can drop your entry off at any of our adoption centers. We have adoption centers in Plainfield, Channahon, Oswego and Hinsdale. You can also mail your entry to Help Save Pets at 24020 W Riverwalk Ct. Plainfield, IL 60544

With your entry, we ask that Mom or Dad include a $5 donation to help feed and care for all of our homeless animals.
