Layla Gets a Home

LaylaLayla’s Happy Day!! What a month Layla has had! One day she was turned in to Aurora Animal Control by her owners, because they were moving. She was very scared and not doing well in the kennel. A volunteer for Help Save Pets fell in love with her picture and we agreed to take her, knowing she needed a foster and could not be at the shelter. The volunteer stepped up and provided a wonderful foster home for Layla. This lucky girl went up for adoption and didn’t have to wait long for her new family. It was bittersweet for her foster family, but they know she is in a new loving home.

Fosters do save lives!!! Layla is proof of that. Her foster had the joy of seeing Layla’s personality and confidence change overnight. They got to enjoy her goofy personality and to see how loving and cuddly she can be. They were able to see her interact with her new family and knew she had found her forever home. What a rewarding experience for all.
