From the Director

Happy New Year from Help Save Pets!

2016 was yet another record-breaking year for HSP with more animals adopted into loving homes than any other year since we began our mission in 2000. And now it’s 2017… Seventeen years and more than 13,000 homeless pets saved- quite a legacy!!

And with the new year, some changes will be happening for us as well. For the first time since our inception, HSP animals will not be housed for the time being at our very first veterinary clinic that we partnered with – the Animal Care Center in Plainfield. Over the years our joint efforts with the staff at ACC have saved over 9,000 animals… A testimony to the caring doctors and staff who opened their clinic doors and provided care and housing to so many animals in need.

The Animal Care Center will be undergoing an extensive remodeling project designed to reduce client wait times and provide even better care to our community’s companion animals. During this construction project, HSP will continue to nurture its partnerships with our other host veterinary clinics, and we look forward to working in conjunction with the Animal Care Center in the future when their remodeling is completed. By doing so, we hope to be able to save even more animals than ever before.

Best wishes for a happy, healthy 2017 to all our human AND our furry friends!
