D348 SissySissy is a sweet girl with a sad story – someone dumped her on the highway. The poor girl was standing in the median, trying to cross with cars beeping and swerving around her. By the time a good Samaritan stopped to help her, she was so terrified and shaking so bad she couldn’t walk. They picked her up and set her in their car, and they said she just buried her head in the lady’s lap and couldn’t even function. Sissy is a Boxer mix, about 7 years old and was saved from a kill shelter in southern Illinois.
